Joe's is mostly mild apnea. My sister's husband has had a machine for multi years. He probably has had similar intensity of events your husband had. It evidently was not pretty. I believe he even had the surgery years ago, but the Sleep Center doctor here told Joe that the surgery worked only about 50% of the time. Anyway sis hubby is doing well with the machine.

The funny thing is that the reason it was discovered was that Joe had gone to the Sleep Center to be one of the ones to try some new sleep medication. He failed the tests after the second visit. (but paid nice money for those two sessions ;)

The second time he was called he TOLD them what had been said the first time. They still wanted him. Failed almost immediately. tee hee.. not nearly as big a check;)

Then shortly after that he decided to talk to our doc/friend about it and back to the Sleep Center he went and the rest, as they say, is history!! :) Actually... on-going history...
