Wrong. Clinton knows Hillary can't win. he basically said so in several TV interviews last week. Hillary is ambitious but not that ambitious. She and Bill would be plenty satisfied with her as a powerful senator and Bill as the #1 fundraiser for the good of mankind on the planet. Which is exactly what's happening right now.

95% of the hype about Hillary running has come from the rightwing. For some perverse reason, the rightwing hates Hillary and can raise funds from other wackos using her name, even though Hillary is quite centrist and was raised a conservative christian and Goldwater Republican. In fact, the Clintons as a whole are centrists more than liberals. Which makes it puzzling why rightwingers hate them so much. They were actually quite bi-partisan in the 90's. Methinks the rightwing just hates the Clitons because they are so damn good at what they do, they are democrats, and they are so successful, particularly with heartland swingvoters.

If you want to fear someone from the Clinton camp in 2008, look at Edwards and Wes Clark. Those two are very viable, along with Warner, Kerry and Gore (if he runs).
