I can't even get the doc of my choice to care for me in my own hospital. That's a contractual matter between your doctor and the hospital. Nothing to do with health insurance. Wait till you get public health care, then you will have your eyes opened..... Doctor of your choice, in order to get a minor skin cancer burned off, first you go to your own doctor who gives you a referral to the doctor he is connected with then you go in for an exam, then you go for treatment. if you want a particular Doctor then it takes real work. When the cancer comes back, you do it over again..... If it is serious and you need surgery you get into who has surgery rights where, and who can refer you to whom.....
