I think it does........and here's why.

The independent voter is keeping a very close eye on events. I think they care a great deal about what is going on. They are doing their research, parsing through all of the newspaper media and other sources on line, on the radio and through people who have had personal experiences on a local and national level at town hall meetings etc. They are also watching politicians interviewed on TV and on line. I think the Independent voter bases his decision on how to vote by educating himself. Regardless of whether you think Clinton made an ass out of himself or not......the fundamental questions are critical. Independent voters...........I think all voters....want answers.

This latest leak of the NIE means a great deal to independent voters...as well it should. When people read the entire report and have a chance to view it in its full context they will again base their decisions not one what the NYTs or the WaPO (or I might add the traitor within our own govt) reports, but the entire report.

I haven't read it yet, but fully intend to do so. I very well may be wrong, but I suspect, once again that the MSM has dissected the report to support their political bias to make, especially the war in Iraq, reflect badly on our govt and our President. Independent voters would more than likely have to come to the same conclusion if they are at all rational.

Whether President Clinton had or did not have a chance to take out BL doesn't really matter in the greater scheme of things unless you lost a loved one on 9/11. But if he did pass the buck........as it appears he did.......it will add fuel to the opinion that dems are weak on defense. That could be a huge factor in the election in '08.

That, imo, is why it matters.
