Mogadishu had nothing to do with the war on terror. despite what Bin Laden says. The war on terror didn't start until 1998 when Clinton attacked Al Qaida. What it did do however was teach our commander in chief a painful lesson. But Bush ignored that lesson. As he ignored all the tremendously painful lessons of Vietnam. And Beirut.
