Yes Chretien was able to stand up and say no to the Iraq war and right or left, liberal or conservative no one will convince me that this war was the right thing. There were other motives otherwise Bush would have bombed Equatorial Guinea as well but he didn't.

Otherwise Chretien was a Liberal and not the smartest guy but Martin was an outright CROOK. So they threw him out and put in Harper just to get rid of Martin. Harper won't win the next election because Canadians are more left than right but thankfully they have enough integrity or love of whats right to can Martin.

Right now Canadians don't like Harper because of Afghanistan and if he doesn't get out he cannot win the next election. Other than that he is OK I suppose.
