Of course, the modern corporation is run for the strict benefit of the top officers, though the "real owners", the shareholders (hahahahaha!) do get excellent, though very expensive, lip service. Miners in general are probably only moderately worse than the average company. As I've said before, corporate CEOs should wear tri-cornered hats and have parrots on their shoulders. No way to change this. The challenge is to profit in light of this knowledge.
