No, you have something qualitatively and politically different, very much so. Let's try again - any Democrats advocating the abolition of the rich? Not just limiting or reshaping, but eliminating them as a social evil? You think all those Hollywood donors plan to be poor? How about the many wealthy Democratic senators and senior party officials?

Of course not. Marxism Lite is more like European social democracy since WW2. American Democratic policies are quite different.

By trying to reduce a complex political science issue to a simple buzz word and a Lite derivative, you lost the meaning of the term you were using and distorted it.

Hmmm, maybe being forced to plough through all this stuff first semester freshman year wasn't as useless as I thought at the time, LOL. Because it really is PoliSci 101, just farther than most American ever get thanks to our educational system.
