BS. Gorbachev was the #1 reason for the end of the Cold War. Reagan's gross defense over-spending was only one of dozens of other factors. Carter was easily as influential as Reagan was when it came to ending the Soviet Union. He's the one who broke the ice. Plus all the other factors I listed.
