In those early yrs, around the turn of the century, the Mormon church and Utah state government were probably almost one and the same entity. That's when the last vestiges of polygamy should have been eradicated. Of course, it's never too late to correct injustice. The numerous women and children in each so-called family are to be pitied. Their lives are diminished in order to inflate one man's ego.
