I love that Northshore model. I'm more for length than weight. A forestry school classmate of mine, Greg Morley, makes his living building works of art in the form of cedar strip canoes out of his shop in Swan Lake Montana. They are the epitome of perfection. I'd love to have one, but then I'd be afraid to get it wet. I couldn't find a website; I'm sure he's too busy to have one. I stopped by his shop last month and he had a half dozen people in there marvelling at his work. djc.com I'm not sure this is a Morley canoe, but it's a cedar strip canoe.
