Fox News is totally biased and always has been. Not a single Fox News show has a progressive anchor, and most have noxious rightwing partisans twisting, ranting and editing the news into quasi rightwing propaganda.

My friend works for Fox and he told me the unwritten rule is if you criticize Bush you get your walking papers. That simple. Only Colmes is allowed to criticize Bush so long as he doesn't talk over Hannity, like Hannity talks over everyone else. That comes from the top. Murdoch and Ailes, both strong Bush-cheney allies.

Yes, they are still a news channel but just barely. When I was in South America and the only English channel was Fox News, I would have thought, judging from Fox, that Iraq was going great and Bush-Cheney were really successful and popular. Reality did not apply, only one-party propaganda. It really is that bad.

What Fox needs to do to be fair and balanced is replace O'Reilly with Al Franken (who is much more honest) and Sean Hannity with Ron Reagan. Then they might be somewhat balanced. Plus, what the hell are they giving felonious let's-arm-Iran Oliver North his own show? How about one for the Unabomber too? Or Warren Jeffs?
