Leo, Thanks for the scoop. With the relatively small float you mentioned, I'm taking a guess that ML has apparently taken a position in SanDisk and is now actively promoting the stock with investors such as me, for obvious reasons. I have a good relationship with my ML broker (in spite of their high commissions) and I'm a fairly active trader. I have a fondness for the tech's in general, causing constant heartburn for my broker. He's sincerely concerned that I tend to place too many eggs in the tech segments, rather than spread the portfolio in a safer strategy. I thought it very interesting that he gave me such a strong recommendation on this one. Sounds like good news for you existing shareholders. After I've had a chance to digest the recent runup a little, I may look to take a position on any dip.
