Funny how this premise only seems to apply to the United States..

It certainly doesn't apply to tyrannical regimes/despots who happen to believe that their power is derived from the barrel of an AK-47, a Katyusha rocket launcher, a car bomb, or from a explosive vest worn by a brainwashed suicide bomber.

All of that seems VERY EFFECTIVE in solving THEIR problems, primary of which is how to weaken the current rivals, and/or government and expanding their own control and power.

But no.. the US has to rely upon some solution that remains, as of yet, elusive and intangible, and certainly impossible for the critics to explain.

All the critics know is that the current solution is not going to work.. And that's the limit of their responsibility..
