Iraq is getting worse. This week was the worst ever. And Bush spends the entire last week trying to make torture legal. That's his priority. As if torture gets reliable intel. Plus the Patriot Act already had a provivion allowing torture in emergencies.

Al Lippi was tortured and the intel he gave turned out to be all phony. if you're being tortured you are likely to tell your torturers anything they want to hear just to make the pain stop, including false confessions and total BS.
