What do you feel the prospects are 10-15 years out? And do you feel this is a good Issue to have in the UGM? <<

TLindt, In the long terms (10 - 15 years from now) MCD will reward loyal investors handomely! WhY? Among other things, MCD has one of the strongest brand recognition worldwide, is expanding very rapidly outside the US (in fact already over half its earnings are coming from overseas, and MCD is expanding faster outside the US than in the US). As many of us know, the US market is pretty close to saturated because of rapid expansion by MCD and other fast foods (including other burgers, (KFC & Boston) chickens, the Taco Bells...clearly MCD is facing fierce competitions in the US). In the short term the share price of MCD will, most likely, trade sideway giving patient, long-term investors many opportunties to accumulate shares at very decent prices.
