Bush Lies About Granting Generals Troop Requests. As any of the recently retired generals will tell us, Bush and Rumsfeld stonewall the requests and needs of the generals on the ground and refuse to listen to the military expedrts, including Colin Powell, Brent Scowcroft, Generals Zinni and Casey, Wes Clark, on and on and on.

But the worst offense of all was when the CIA had Bin Laden trapped at Tora Bora and pleaded for 400 Army Rangers to block the mountain escape routes. Bush and Tommy Franks refused to delibver so the entire Al Qaida leadership got away.
