and you just explained why the US must support Israel. I will support Israel so long as they remain a democratic government, and continue to show willingness to engage in peace talks with the Palestinians. I'm just not willing to sign on for any extremist Zionist proposal for further expansion of Israel (not that I see that currently prevalent).. I'll let them share Jerusalem as a capital along with the Palestinians, and the few major established settlements they have around Jerusalem, but the rest of their settlements on the West Bank need to go in the interest of compromise. But the Palestinians must compromise as well, and it's not apparent that they ever will reach that state of mind. Hawk
