the hangman's noose I see as something that goes along with the cowboy boots, not the Confederate flag... Pretending that he had a noose in his office because he wanted to lynch blacks is just slimy, but typical Democrat attack-dog politics

You've got to be kidding.

1. How, exactly, does a hangman's noose go along with being a cowboy?

2. As for "slimy... attack-dog politics"--if you're suggesting that somehow the Democrats engage in such tactics either more or slimier than Republicans, then you really do have blinders on. Lee Atwater was the original master, and many have followed in his "hallowed" footsteps (even though he himself alleged felt shame for his political activities when he was dying of cancer).

3. "He's being attacked because he's a front-runner for the nomination for the 2008 Presidential Republican ticket." Lol, as if someone has to be a front-runner for a Presidential nomination to be attacked. Ask Max Cleland about that, just to take one of many examples.
