So this begs the question as to what would be an effective solution to the problem of Islamofacist extremists ?? I strongly believe in everyone's right to religious freedom and the free practice thereof ... However, I do have a problem if any religion advocates and expects it's followers to engage in illegal practices such as violent or forced conversion of non-believers .. as appears to be the case with Islam .. I'm puzzled/troubled by the apparent lack of self restraint/condemnation of the more militant Islamists from what I hope and expect to be the vast majority of moderate practitioners of the Faith .. We certainly shouldn't tolerate the extremists in our midst and would support any action aimed at eradicating the problem domestically including extradition .. Foreign policy should probably be geared toward insisting that the moderates take an active roll in cleaning house .. failing that then I'd support any initiative that promoted schisms from within the militant extremists ie .. keep them fighting amongst themselves .. Any other ideas short of pulling out the troops and vaporizing the place as has been suggested ?? Triff ..
