Yes, and I imported mine from Ireland from the Original stock of owned by the lady, since died, who saved the breed from extinction. The Irish ones are bigger and stronger then the American ones with single layer coat not double. However, being bigger and stronger makes them more difficult to handle, so I dont recommend one like that unless one is knowledgeable of the breed. Because they havent been watered down through breeding they usually live longer and healthier also. jdn
