Howard Dean is much more effective than Ken Mehlman. Mehlman is an obvious flat-out liar and only a a diehard Bushie would believe a word he says.

As for fundraising, it's true the GOP has an advantage. Guess why? Their policies benefit the very rich and the huge corporate interests. So if Dems come in, those interests are going to have to cough up more in tax money to start trying to balance the budget and pay off the Bush deficits. Energy and helth care gouging won't be allowed, no-bid contracts to cronies like Halliburton won't be allowed and pork barrel spending will go way down.

If you're honest, you raise less money. But this time people are yearning the honesty. Look at teh recent polls. Dems are ahead in about 70% of the races, particularly when it comes to governorships.
