Most of the family farms I know are worth a lot simply because they can be developed. As for cheating, well, I watched as one of Joe Kennedy's ole bootlegging buddies walk out of Canada with a billion and a half untaxed dollars, they got an exemption, cheating for anyone else should be encouraged.

As for planes made by slaves, I think work should be encouraged, the problem comes when a family denies themselves so they can save a few dollars, and having done without most of their lives so they have something to leave, it gets grabbed by the Government. All of the money in an estate has had tax paid on it, every dime of it, so why should it be taxed twice? A tax on estates is simply a tax on savings. A tax on savers and that is why so many countries don't tax them. BTW often those savings are the investment pools that people use from generation to generation, handing the money to government only spends it.
