Actually there is STRONG evidence that the PPT stepped in on at least 2 occasions

The last one the London Bombing.
Futures were bought at massive premiums to the underlying.
I know several hedge funds that arbed it, not caring what happened later because at the end of the day they had a guaranteed gain.

There was a clear intent to prop up the market regardless of cost.

Normal market forces would not allow things like that to happen over a prolonged period of time. That does not PROVE the PPT but one could hardly call that normal reaction for the market to rally on a freaking bomb scare with futures trading at a massive premium over the underlying to boot.
