Watergate was a major crime by a president who like Bush decided he was above the law and could abuse power any way he liked. Nixon learned who the real boss is in the USA, the people. And Bush is much worse than Nixon so he's got an even bigger lesson coming.

Woodward is a liberal. He cannot be categorized. Woodward wrote a very flattering book about Bush two years ago, and now probably realizes he was wrong to do so. That book was endorsed by the White House.
