My older son has black hair and a curly black beard, which I make him keep short, because, even though he has very white skin, when his beard gets long he looks like Al-Sadr or similar.

But one thing is, he smiles all the time. He's a very happy person. As am I. And we've never been given "the treatment" in an airport, not that we fly that often, two or three trips a year.

I don't know whether it's the odds, or whether it's because we smile and don't get confrontational, ever.
