LIAR! AWOLBush.com did not serve in the military, you braindead twit. And that website has all the raw evidence. AWOLBUSH.com, look it up everyone.

Next, the VC regular Kerry jumped off his boat and chased down and killed, was armed with a B4 rocket launcher and was about to blow up Kerry's boat. ABC Nightline went to the village and the people there described the rocketeer as a 24 year VC regular who had been waiting to abush the swiftboat. He was not a "kid" and he was heavily armed.

This is precise evidence of the gross cynical lies and smears of the rightwing today. They deliberately take the incident where war hero Kerry deservedly earned a Silver Star for bravery in combat, and turn it into "murder".

meanwhile, they misrepresent Bush's draft-dodging into the champagne unit of the Texas Guard (for rich kids who refuse to fight only) and describe it as "the military". That's not the military. Bush never went through boot camp or any rigorous training. He merely had to show up and study to be a pilot, but after doing that for awhile he just disappeared without notice. He also skipped his mandatory drug test. He went AWOL for eight months before showing back up and pleading to be let out two years early to go to Harvard. Because his last name is Bush they let him go without punishment. But technically, he should have been sentenced to four years mandatory service in the Army doing KP duty. That's the truth. That was the law then.
