Hi Taro et al, I'm not a conspiracy theorist and don't wear a tin hat, but I've just noticed something crazy. Oil has slipped 15% from the mid 70's to $63 since early August. During that same timeframe, gas prices have slipped 23%, from $3 to around $2.30 in my area. That seems to be a pretty large slip in gas compared to oil? Could it be that the oil companies are slimming their profit margins to keep their Republican benefactors in Congress this November?

Just a thought.
