The truth need not be feared. That's precisely why I ripped Otellini which you disagreed with, and Barratt whom I spared is probably even worse.

I don't remember discussing Otellini with you, but now that we are on the subject I do disagree. And I disagree about Barrett as well. A uProcessor architecture takes years to go from conception to product. The Netburst architecture was born under Grove, not Barrett. It only surfaced under Barrett. Blaming the guy who was there when it surfaced is not well thought out. Furthermore, Core Duo was conceived under Barrett. Not giving credit to him when credit is due is not well thought out either. As for Otellini, you are being far too hasty imo drawing any conclusions at this point.
