Ron, I think I am the only one even more bullish than MM on the biotechs, especially the smaller ones. Of the ones you mentioned, I own Sequana, Ligand, and Isis. I also like Biocryst, Cambridge Neuro, Cell Genysis, Cephalon, Genome Ther., Human Genome, Genzyme Trans, Genzyme Tissue, Gilead, Incyte, Medarex, Neurogen, Sang-Stat, and Shaman. I think diversification is vital, as is big company backing of the research. I have made a ton of money on the bios in the past year, though that profit has declined a bit recently with the July crash. Biotech is the true growth industry in the world and the one that everyone needs eventually. Of course, there are lots of scam and underfunded companies in the group, so you have to be selective. I also like the biotech Closed End funds like H&Q Life, H&Q Health, and Global Health. All selling at discounts of 18-21 percent make them a good deal for the speculator. MB
