I don't support it either.

WTO agreements are written in such a way that if for example a municipality decides that it wants to only allow non GMO crops to be grown within it's borders then it becomes liable to lawsuits from companies that produce GMO seeds and supplies because it has put up a barrier to trade. And it can be forced to pay monetary damages to the companies because it has caused them "loss of trade". This is in fact a loss of sovereignty.

The legal structure has become slanted very much in favor of the corporation at the expense of the rights of the individual and the environment. It is like a vise that they use to oppress the poor majority while the rich minority increase their wealth more and more.
