steve, I agree. The verses in 2 Peter about the "christian graces" and the Gala. passages on the fruits of the Spirit are in complete harmony with what James says. If we see these things increasing in our lives and coming from God as we pray and do our best to cooperate with Him -- we should be strongly encouraged. If we don't feel are lives are being transformed, then maybe we ought to pray more and think about these words ... My 2 cents. Appreciate yur posts on this subject.
