This "war on terror" reminds me of the "war on drugs" and the "war on poverty". The way Bush is waging it we can count on it lasting forever. How many Americans don't have health insurance? Something like 44 million. So how many Americans will die a premature death due to the inability to pay for medical procedures in any particular year? 100,000? 200,000? Those are very conservative estimates - it could be 1/2 million to a million premature American deaths. There is no money to fund health insurance but there is a never ending supply of money to fund useless quagmire war. All this done by the "pro-life" party. If you average out terrorisat related American deaths over the last twenty years its about 100 a year. I say big deal the population of the USA is over 300 million! The trouble is some nitwit granny in Idaho is going to vote Republican because she scared sh%tless about being blown up by terrorists (a fear Bush encourages) despite the fact she has no health insurance!
