Missing sales do not a body make any more than a shapeless lump in the shadows.

What, pray tell, would be the result of practices that violate the Claton Act that would not result in "missing sales". If missing sales are not subject to investigation, what on earth is relevant?

Missing sales do not prove the crime. They would be the result of an Anit-trust crime. A necessary, but not sufficient, condition. They are part the body (of evidence) over which the case will be fought.
