Sadly, my two grand daughters were born and grew up in another state. I haven't seen them in 8 years. Now the oldest is a freshman in college, even farther away. I can't travel because I take care of my 90 year old mother who has an anxiety attack if she can't call me on a moment's notice.

It's a sad commentary, on my daughter, who failed to teach those two girls to drop me a note once in a while. That probably actually reflects back on my late wife and myself. Although, my son, who also is in another state, keeps in touch. Go figure...
