ROFL! First off, I quoted myself, so I can't be "duped by the originator of that post". Second, as I click back on the NCANS link, I see it was heavily edited and my comments were all deleted! For example, check out the third comment (by Bobo) that begins with:

Jeff...um...If on one day, the demand for stock exceeds the ability of the bad guys to print shares by 50K...um...er...and the availability is nill...um...the price goes up....

Do you see my original comment? No! It was poofed. What you are seeing is Bobo trying to explain why if OSTK was heavily naked shorted that day -- as the FOIA data purportedly showed (and the reason for the blog entry in the first place) -- it went up and not down! Check out his explanation! You can't make stuff like this up.
