Foley is gone. My hope is he receives whatever is due for his offenses.

There is no need to go back 30-40 years, William Jefferson's case was full of political misdirections and smoke screens. Remember that investigators "overstepped" their bounds by invading his office on capital hill. The fact that he still "serves" is relatively fresh evidence of differences in approaches. Hard to shame some folks.

The left would have a lot more credibility in their "ongoing investigations", if they would pump out their own septic tank now and then.
