If you look at 2 year chart depicting BRCM and QCOM, you can see that the gap is wider and wider. And if after two years you are better off stashing your money in savings account than investing in QCOM, there is something wrong, like being married with the stock.

One thing to remember is QCOM a broken company or a broken stock? Right now it is a broken stock, but will it be a broken company? It seems that the current management has no clue in dealing with the barrage of lawsuits from all over the place. General Custer with arrows all over the body?

Recall the following: BCRM just lost in New Jersey court. What did BRCM spokeperson say? "QCOM should not take comfort ... we are appealing..." What was QCOM response? Nothing. Not even celeberation and issue press release telling the financial community of how great that the decision is, and that based on that ruling, the future of QCOM is so bright that you need shares over your eyes ...

QCOM needs to have a good PR man and not slip of the tongue PJ "we offer great deal for BRCM". Yes, we are here to make money. For one, I am not married to the stock.
