Email answer #13 - Avoiding overnight risk Yes you do miss the potential gap up in the morning, but in IMHO overnight risk is the single greatest risk facing daytrader. To me holding overnight is the equivalent of trying to hit a homerun. Successful daytraders avoid going for the bleachers,instead they focus on singles..lots and lots of singles. leave the homeruns to the position traders.
