KGO had a person on the morning show that claimed the Pentagon thinks of the Middle Eastern countries as" One bomb countries". Which means, drop one bomb and you'll win the war. In otherwords, nuke the main city and you win. The problem comes when you have to occupy the remaining lands with troops. Iraq is definitely an example of why the "Shock and Awe" technique is faulty. I do believe that we have become so consumed with"Might makes right" and winning is everything that we have concentrated on military power as a means of war waging. AS soon as someone figures out how to make money on a weaponry that employs less force we will be changing our tactics and strategy.
