Is this still your view that Trimble would make a foray into E-911?

I haven’t followed Trimble except for the occasional posts of the SI board. I just now did a search for Trimble and “A-GPS.” I didn’t find anything that suggested that Trimble (that is, within Trimble) were doing A-GPS. They seem to need/want partners to do the networking part of the system. One could track down those doing the A-GPS part to see if they are licensees. I would need to see that Trimble has increased the number of correlators (tuners of the GSP signal) to something like 20K to 100K in their receivers so that the units could work indoors. If you find something like that, I’ll review it.

I will look into this further as time permits.
