you have the leftwing partisans trying to stifle debate while they think they are in the lead

I think the debate should be left to the real scientists. The Royal Society tried to point that out. If there is no Global Warming going on, I am sure they will find that out too.

The whining noises made about how the poor little climate deniers being given a rough time it just indicates the shallow nature of your knowledge about scientific progress. The fact is theories wax and wan and most of them are consigned to the dustbin. For considerable amount of time the general body of scientific knowledge can be on the wrong track. Hindsight is aways easy.

But having the quacks and alchemists, backed by big biz money putting their oar in as well, just confuses the process beyond that necessary.

The Philip Morris crowd said smoking was good for you. How wrong were they on that one?? The reason they said that was because big biz threw money at the quackery and con men to promote sales.

Your accusation that the Royal Society has some sort of political agenda is just plain ludicrous. It reveals a hick parochial point of view that is just laughable.
