Oh come on Geode. It wasn't "children". That's like the Palestinians saying how their children are being killed by evil-doing baby-cooking Jews. In fact, the Palestinian "children" are hairy great young adolescent males who are as aggressive as hell and out to show who's boss and it's them, not the Jews. Mike Tyson at 18 was about the most fearsome marauder on the planet. Perhaps calling them "minors" would be a more accurate description.

Children are pre-pubescent in my book. A teacher calling a classroom full of 16 year old girls children would be laughed out of the room. 17 year old boys are not as mature as 16 year old girls, but they are still not children. I had been driving cars, vans and motorcycles for a couple of years when I turned 17. I had a girlfriend and was conducting political action. I certainly didn't feel like a child.

If the social studies teacher I had when I was 13 had taken a fancy to me when I was 17, I might well have considered myself a very fortunate young man.

Enough of the "children".

A guy I know was a teacher in his early 20s, and he recounted how it was dangerous at times with hot young females who considered it great fun to try to corner the hot young male teacher. Also, very tempting he said. It didn't seem that they were just playing games either. Maybe if he'd made himself available, they'd have been thrilled. Let's not be too naive about how these poor little innocent children are thinking and what they are capable of.

As you can see, we are having plenty of disagreement, which is excellent.
