I think my first post delineated in rather concrete terms that I've seen NO improvement in management's business sense.
<Your first post simply didn't answer the question you've asked of me, namely, "How has management's business sense improved?">
It's for the very reasons you state that I see no improvement in the good doctor's management sense. As far as I can tell, Fonar has the best product and yet they can't sell enough machines to turn a profit. Let Damadian research, invent, and innovate. He's built a reputation in those areas. What he hasn't shown in his nearly three decades at the helm of Fonar is the ability to build a successful, money-making company.
<You follow Fonar, and yet have failed in your first post to mention - let alone analyze - the value of the research done since the suits were won, the value of the proprietary patented product now being sold, the potential value of Fonar's existing capacity to supply product for more sales (if Fonar failed to meet demand, any basher might rightly complain), the value of maintenance on current installations of Fonar equipment both new and old, the value of the recent national Advertising campaign, and the value of having Damadian and compatriot now having bought Fonar shares on the open market.>
Ahhh! I think we're getting to the heart of the matter here. I've made it quite clear that I've seen NO improvement in management's business sense. That, of course, is why I asked YOU to answer the question. Almost all of the 128.7 million dollars collected from GE in 1997 is gone whether you want to call it "frittered" or not. In the meantime, the number of outstanding shares has doubled to nearly 130 million, and the share price continues to drop from $2+ in 1997 to the low thirty cent range today. Perhaps, it's a matter of semantics. Maybe I should say that revenues "improved" from approximately 75 million dollars in 2005 to approximately 10 million dollars in 2006.
<Of course, unless you accept the premise of your question, namely, that management indeed improved in some way, you'll never be able to answer your question for anyone.> |
