baan looks ok short term, but i bet this one will be a major short opportunity starting mid next year. No matter what they say, transition to mid tier will be a major ditribution channel and price point challenge for the company. Core business is maturing and currently being accelerated by the Y2K problem. business will slow late 98 and i'd bet growth will be under 20% in 99 and flat to down in the year 2000. Upside maybe for now, but picking up pennies in front of a freight train IMO. Institutions are trapped by their quarterly/daily time horizon, when they get nervous about Y2K slowdown this thing could see the 20's.
