Sounds like we agree then. Congress has a certain degree of decorum that is starting to chip away. "My good and honorable friend [from the other side of the aisle] Senator SoAndSo [whose guts I hate] doesn't have a good plan for (Iraq, Social Security, Israel policy -- whatever) and I have a much better plan for that [not to mention that I will spill the beans about his sleeping with XYZ if I can get any political mileage out of it, provided that my party's similar skeleton rattling around its own closet can be kept secret]." The [subtext] is coming out of the box like dueling pistols, and we will have Aaron Burr and Alexander Hamilton all over again. We deserve better leaders in government than this. We have many, but the scoundrels have not all been found out I'm sure.
