No, it wasn't. But it is being played as if it were. I consider pedophilia to be pre-puberty. One motto of pedophiles is, "eight is too late." Studies show that there are men who engage in sex with boys who are otherwise not gay. The gay community uses this to try to claim that Gays don't engage in it. Nonsense, IMO.

Heterosexual males engage in sex with pre-puberty girls, and gay males engage in sex with pre-puberty boys. This is why I always considered the argument by the ACLU that the Boy Scouts could not discriminate against Gay Scoutmasters as nonsense. They wouldn't dare try this on the Girl Scouts by insisting that they allow male, Girl Scoutmasters.
