I don't think that being gay and being a pedohpile are necessarily always inseparable. I have gay friends (male and female) who are not attracted to kids.... If they made the decision to bar him from committes solely on the basis of his sexual orientation then that would not be right. Now if they knew he was gay AND trolling for kids....that is different. And that is the difference here....it appears that at least Hastert knew....and I don't see how he keeps his job.... The problem that Pro and myself have in reconciling these things is the double standard....Studds, Frank, etc.... J.
