So with this decision about Canada how exactly will you get your oil from Alaska? You were thinking of a pipeline, but obviously since Canada is on your number two list, that won't be happening. Since Canada used to be one of your big sources of Oil, please note the USED to be, since Canada is now a tier 2 country, I am sure you would rather we sold it somewhere else. Since we have long had a disagreement about lumber, we will be solving this problem by not cutting as much, if it adds 20 or 30% to the price of American Lumber, well you have lots of parks to cut timber in, I am sure you will be fine. Since you have long been terrorizing Canadian Tourism with your threats of passports please understand that we will be requiring Visas for Americans attempting to enter Canada. Also until further notice the Welland Ship Canal is closed for repairs, now try shipping stuff out of what was once your industrial heartland. There is always trucks of course. Since you have determined to arm your coast guard on the great lakes, please use your Erie ship Canal to get them to Lake Erie. I know this limits the size of boats you can use but what the heck think of it as a stimulus to your ship building industry.

When did you say you wanted all this in effect? How about Thursday.

PS You might mention this little escapade to your farm community, their sales will be a tad short henceforth. We will be dealing with Cuba if they want to grow oranges and grapefruits. And we really did not want any more spinach or salad anyway.
