Got this correction by email from an AOL member.

The German company that makes quartz glass for steppers is Heraeus and is sold in the US by Heraeus Amersil. Heraeus and Shinetsu supply the great majority of glass for steppers, Heraeus in US and Europe, Shinetsu in Japan.

I don't think I'd take the chance selling CYMI for tax loss purposes when we're less than 30 days from earnings. ... Perhaps after October 23rd.

Re Dr Akins Press Release: Personally, I'd not bother. Both major brokerages have decided to ignore guidance and are bringing out all the negative risk factors that the mind can imagine. On October 23rd after the close, Dr Akins will speak with what counts. Until then, it's a p***ing match between CYMI and the Street. JMHO. Bottom line, it really doesn't matter what CYMI says or doesn't say for the next month.
